Alive
Graffiti in Motion
The concept of this piece was to make the city art come to life. It is still a work in progress and I hope to finish it this summer. Shot in Downtown Orlando and composited in After Effects. Thanks to Collin Harrington for pushing around on the skateboard at 6 am with a bunch of shady characters hanging out eying my camera.
Company Wakeboards
Stinger
The guys over at Fiction created a stinger for my friend Justin at Company Wake entirely in after effects. I thought it was a really cool look they gave it. At the time I was learning Cinem 4D and wanted to try an re-create the same type of look.
Old Personal Bumper
This was my very first class project for intro to motion graphic at Full Sail University. Before this I had no experience in after effects. Some of the requirements were no 3D or cameras. The whole project is all 2D and postion keyframe animation.
Liquid Force LTD.
Product intro test
This was my second project version 2 in the intro to motion class at Full Sail University. Again we had the requirement of no 3D or cameras. It was all created in 2D with animated position keyframes and masks.
Vespa Commercial
This was my final project in my 3D animation class at Full Sail University. We had to texture the vespa and and build a scene of some kind. Then we had to place and animate a minimum of 3 cameras and export to an editor of our choice. I used Final cut pro to make the edits and After Effects for the compositing and graphics.
3D Blocks in AE
Just playing around with square solids and pre-comps in after effects. Not a whole lot to it.
Liquid Force
Product Test Promo
This was the first version of my second class project for intro to motion graphics at Full Sail University. Again, no 3D or cameras. Just position keyframes.
Spy Optics
Womens Promo
This was my first venture in 2.5D and incorporating video in After Effects. It was a class project that had to market to someone outside of our individual demographic. I chose to market the womens line of Spy Sunglasses.
Cinematography Montage
Just wanted to put together some of my camera work I've done over the past year or so. There has been no post work done to this stuff except on the graffiti piece and the timelapse. hope you enjoy it!
Crane Test
So I bought a 12ft camera crane and got hold of a 30ft homemade camera dolly and ran out to the Prjects wakeboard camp to do some tests. It was a little tricky to get the shot since the LCD monitor I ordered had not shown up yet. I still think the shots came out OK for my first attempt without even knowing what I was looking at. After the monitor came I did some work for the Billabong team video Out of the Pond. That stuff came out really nice. But you'll have to see the film or wait for my cinematography/FCP reel to witness the awesomeness
Pendulum
Brian Reeder
Just a rough edit of a project I was working on a few years back titled Pendulum. I never had time to finish it but I didn't want the riding to go unseen. So I threw together just some really rough edits with no effects or color correction just to get the footage out to the masses. Here is the rough of Brian Reeders section. Hope you enjoy the riding. We plan on reshooting in all HD and getting back to this project hopefully in the spring of 2010.
Pendulum
Steve Edwards
Just another installment of the Pendulum project. This time enjoy the riding of Steve Edwards. Follow me on the blog and keep your eyes open for updates on the reshoots of this project.
Pendulum
Jimmy Wolf

Young Guns
Magazine Article Supporting Graphic
This was an in class exercise given in one of my graphic design classes at Full Sail University. I was given a magazine article and had 2 hours to put together the supporting graphic. It was about young artists getting hired as designers with no education but still getting the job over a seasoned designer because of their younger artistic style.
Personal Skateboard Graphic
This is just a mock up of a skateboard graphic that is a self Auto-Biographical representation that pertain to parts of my personal life. I used an image of me that was published in wakeboarding magazine then traced it in Adobe Illustrator and then built a couple of different swirl patterns to be used as a brush to paint the background like water.
PaintBall Journals Web Comp
Design Comp completed for the PaintBall Journals Website. This was a class project where we had to design a user friendly web interface for a fictional website.
The Carnival
Event Poster
About a month before the Carnival wakeboard rail event was going to happen I had not seen any event posters or ads anywhere. So durring a break in one of my classes I decided to make one playing off a boxing theme. The event the year before just had a photo of Parks with boxing gloves so I thought it would be cool to emphasize on the fact it would be an unknown competing against him for the championship belt. I think it came out pretty good for an hours worth of work.
Spy Hunter
Flash Game
During one of my Flash animation classes at Full Sail University we had to create a game from scratch. I used to love the old spy hunter game when I was a kid so I wanted to recreate it in the same style but better cars and explosions. I even managed to find the original audio from the game. I didn't get the game finished but managed to get all the class requirements in. The game was designed in Photoshop and illustrator and coded in Flash. You can play it. So shoot as many cars as you can before the time runs out. good Luck.
